Fitness Class Descriptions
Child Care: The Tot Spot is available for children 3 months - 8 years old. $2/hour per child; $1/hour per additional child.

Pass Information

Max: Classes are run on a first come basis. Check in at the front desk is required prior to class, if the class is full, the front desk will be able to tell you and will not charge your fitness pass.

Street Shoes: Please make a conscious effort to bring a change of shoes to class so that rocks and dirt do not scratch the floors.

Yoga: A challenging workout that uses rapid movements through Hatha Yoga exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles, joints, and spine. This is an intermediate class. Location: Studio at the MRC

Yoga Stretch: You will move your whole body through a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Location: Studio at the MRC

Steppin' Strong: Step Aerobics lovers, this one's for you! Increase cardio endurance through a variety of step routines. Instruction will be geared toward all fitness levels. Location: Studio at the MRC

Core Concepts: This noon class will focus on abs and back muscles; the area of your body key to good posture and overall strength. The class will use a range of Pilates, dance, and resistance training. Participants can modify the intensity of the moves as needed. Location: Studio at the MRC

Have-A-Ball: Limited time for physical exercise? This class will use the fit ball to get your blood pumping and increase your energy for the rest of the day. Students can come in their work clothes and sneakers! No floor work. No classes during Thanksgiving week.

Pilates: Strengthening the core body muscles increases overall balance, and flexibility. This class will teach specific exercises and movements to help make your core body strong. A great workout for beginners and intermediates. No classes during Thanksgiving week.
